Introduction to the;
Dorset Premier Football League
The league was formed in 1957 and was initially called the Dorset Football Combination League.
The 2019/2020 Season will be contested by 17 teams covering the entire county of Dorset and neighbouring Counties.
The objective of the League on its formation was to increase the standard of football in Dorset, an ideal that still holds true today as the League currently sits at Step 7 of the FA's National League System.
The DPL is proud to have been awarded it's FA Standard Charter League Status.

DORSET SENIOR TROPHY - Semi Final
2nd half goals from Ben Lebow & Scott Bungay saw Holt United beat hosts Sturminster Newton 2-0 at Barnetts field to take their place in this seasons final, where they will meet Blandford United at the County Ground with the date to be confirmed.
LEAGUE
Blandford United welcomed Bournemouth Sports to Park Road and it was the Blues who won for the 19th time in the League this season with a comfortable 3-0 win, their goals being scored by Joe Kempster and a Mark Ford brace. Another side to register a 3-0 home win were Swanage T&H who beat Bridport Reserves at Days Park. Scoring for the Swans were Charlie Brassington (x2) & Daniel Reeks. Meanwhile, the "Ridgeway" derby went the way of Dorchester Sports who won 3-1 at the College against hosts Balti Sports with their goals courtsey of Alex Godfrey, Todd Coombs & Owen Peart, replying for the hosts was Kieran Wall.
On 18 July 2020 the FA issued guidelines for the return of outdoor competitive grassroots football.

The DPL Management Committee will be meeting by the end of this coming week to discuss the situation with a proposed Club Secretaries meeting by the end of July.

Having reviewed what was said at the recent AGM, please can I confirm that the club secretaries should register their players on the Whole Game System. At the same time the player registration form(s) should either be scanned across to me or a hard copy be posted to me so that I can complete the registration process.
