It is with deep regret that we have to inform you that Dorset Football stalwart Jack Bellows has sadly passed away.

Jack was a great character and had been the heart of clubs and league committees for many years and will be sorely missed.

 

Thoughts go out to Jack's wife and his family at this sad time.

 

Jack's funeral was held on Wednesday 27th November with over 150 in attendance. As an ex-Royal Marine, a fine tribute was paid to Jack with a guard of honour from Poole Royal Marine Association and a brilliant rendition of the last post and reveille by a Royal Marine trumpeter.
