DPL Representative Team

I am pleased to be able to announce that the DPL have appointed. 

Mr Stuart Beddingfield to be our Representative Team Manager for our forthcoming FA Inter League Cup Campaign.

 

On behalf of the League, I welcome Stuart to his position, and I am sure that ALL Member Clubs will assist Stuart moving forward.

 

Stuart will be appointing his own Backroom Team with details to follow.

 

Our 1st Round tie in this season’s FA Inter League Cup Competition sees us travel to play the Thames Valley League.

 

The tentative date will be Saturday 14TH February 2026 @ Reading City FC with Coach and timing details to follow.

 

Stuart will now be working very hard to put together a squad for this fixture and to that end may I remind ALL member Clubs of League Rule 18 Q

HAPPY NEW YEAR .....

The New year got off to a bang with goals a plenty in the 6 games that survived the current freeze.

Dorchester Sports FC who beat near neighbours Balti Sports FC 4-1 at the Avenue Stadium have now moved to the top of the table, scoring for the hosts were Dylan Ellis [x2] Owen Peart & Brin Doyle with Jack Summers scoring the visitors consolation. Blandford United FC helped themselves to a 4-0 win at home against Gillingham Town FC, scoring for the hosts were Jimmy Fry with a brace including 1 from the penalty spot, Ashley Wells and Elliott Manson, who later saw red. 1point behind in 3rd place are Dorchester Sports FC who beat near neighbours Balti Sports FC 4-1 at the Avenue Stadium, scoring for the hosts were Dylan Ellis [x2] Owen Peart & Brin Doyle with Jack Summers scoring the visitors consolation. Bournemouth Electric FC put their visitors from Sherborne Town FC Reserves to the sword as the hosts won 7-0 with goals from Oliver Bird [x2] an OG, Aza Khider, Lucas Phillips, Dillon King & Daniel Reeks.
Swanage Town & Herston FC also won 7-0 this afternoon as they defeated Bridport FC Reserves in the Purbeck, scoring for the Swans were Charlie Pitt, Cody Moore, Ogun Gundogdu, Cohen Lee, Curtis Young & a brace of Penalties from Will Pryor, Marcus Smith saw red for the hosts after picking up 2 Yellows. Westland Sports FC won 2-0 at Hamworthy United FC Reserves with 1st half goals from Phil Ormrod & an OG, finally Holt United FC won on the road also after a 4-2 win at Wimborne Town FC Reserves, scoring for the Bulls were Kayne Daysh [p] Billy Bradley & a brace from Albie Turner, scoring for the hosts were ?????
