Introduction to the;
Dorset Premier Football League
The league was formed in 1957 and was initially called the Dorset Football Combination League.
The 2019/2020 Season will be contested by 17 teams covering the entire county of Dorset and neighbouring Counties.
The objective of the League on its formation was to increase the standard of football in Dorset, an ideal that still holds true today as the League currently sits at Step 7 of the FA's National League System.
The DPL is proud to have been awarded it's FA Standard Charter League Status.

With the games now coming thick and fast, Westland Sports moved back into 2nd place after their 3-0 win at Alvington against Sherborne Town Reserves, scoring for the hosts were Steve Ormrod, Phil Ormrod & Duncan McCabe. Holt United faced a tricky match at Merley Cobham Sports, however the Bucks were ruthless and ended their hosts 9 game winning streak 5-0 at Canford Park, scoring for the visitors were Kyle John-Clement, Corey Elwick x2, Connor Bent & Scott Bungay. Meanwhile, Blandford United continued with their goal scoring exploits as they beat host Bridport Reserves 6-0 at St Mary’s field, scoring for the Royals were, Joe Freak, Sam Smith, William Johnson, Pat Jenkins & Joe Kempster with a late brace.
On 18 July 2020 the FA issued guidelines for the return of outdoor competitive grassroots football.

The DPL Management Committee will be meeting by the end of this coming week to discuss the situation with a proposed Club Secretaries meeting by the end of July.

Having reviewed what was said at the recent AGM, please can I confirm that the club secretaries should register their players on the Whole Game System. At the same time the player registration form(s) should either be scanned across to me or a hard copy be posted to me so that I can complete the registration process.
