Introduction to the;
Dorset Premier Football League
The league was formed in 1957 and was initially called the Dorset Football Combination League.
The 2019/2020 Season will be contested by 17 teams covering the entire county of Dorset and neighbouring Counties.
The objective of the League on its formation was to increase the standard of football in Dorset, an ideal that still holds true today as the League currently sits at Step 7 of the FA's National League System.
The DPL is proud to have been awarded it's FA Standard Charter League Status.

Sherborne Town Reserves welcomed Blandford United to Raleigh Grove under the lights with the points going to the Royals after a hard fought 2-1 win, scoring for the Blues were George Coleman & Ben Knight with Joshua Haskett replying for the Zebras

1 Tie played tonight with Dorchester Sports playing host to Wimborne Town Reserves at the Avenue Stadium, the score at FT was 2-2 with the game going to Extra Time, eventually going the way of the hosts 4-2, Scoring in normal time for the hosts were Alex Godfrey & Josh Leake with Luca Lane & James Rogers replying for the visitors. Scoring for Sports in extra time were Sam Poole & Oli Lowes to book their place in the Semi Finals.
On 18 July 2020 the FA issued guidelines for the return of outdoor competitive grassroots football.

The DPL Management Committee will be meeting by the end of this coming week to discuss the situation with a proposed Club Secretaries meeting by the end of July.

Having reviewed what was said at the recent AGM, please can I confirm that the club secretaries should register their players on the Whole Game System. At the same time the player registration form(s) should either be scanned across to me or a hard copy be posted to me so that I can complete the registration process.
