Introduction to the;
Dorset Premier Football League
The league was formed in 1957 and was initially called the Dorset Football Combination League.
The 2019/2020 Season will be contested by 17 teams covering the entire county of Dorset and neighbouring Counties.
The objective of the League on its formation was to increase the standard of football in Dorset, an ideal that still holds true today as the League currently sits at Step 7 of the FA's National League System.
The DPL is proud to have been awarded it's FA Standard Charter League Status.

Cobham Sports FC welcomed Bournemouth Electric FC to Merley Park with honours shared after a 2-2 draw, scoring for the hosts were Callum Clarke & Faustino Maher with Ionel Lolot & Karrem Soloman notching for Electric, Bournemouth Sports FC remain in 2nd place after a 9 goal thriller at Cranford Avenue ending in a 5-4 win for the defending champions against Balti Sports FC, scoring for the Chapel gate outfit were Taylor Webb, Dan Hayward [x2] & Sam Bennett [x2] replying for the hosts were Matt Chambers & Troy Walbridge with a hat trick. Dorchester Sports FC maintained their decent form with a comfortable 5-0 win on the road at Potterne Park against Verwood Town FC , scoring for Sports were Alex Godfrey, Kieran Coombes, Dylan Ellis, Brin Doyle & Dan Sheehy. Another side to win big away were Holt United FC who beat Poole Borough FC 6-2 at Turlin Moor, scoring for the Bulls were George Lane [x2] Mickey Finch [x2] Louis McWilliam & Josh Buck, with Christian Bond & Ryan Fitzsimmon replying for the hosts. Highest scorers on the day were Swanage T&H FC who hammered the Hammers of Hamworthy United FC Reserves 9-0 in the Purbeck, scoring for the Swans were Ocean Smith [x2] Cody Moore [x2] Curtis Young [x2] Brad Smith, Will Pryor & Dan Reeks. Blandford United FC left it very late to beat Wimborne Town FC Reserves 1-0 at Park Road with the all important winner courtesy of Joe Kempster. Sherborne Town FC Reserves claimed North Dorset bragging rights after a 2-0 win at Gillingham Town FC 2-0 with the Zebras goal scorers being Ollie Crisp & Josh Haskett. Westland Sports FC welcomed Portland United FC Reserves to Alvington with the hosts running out 3-0 winners with goals from Luca Martin [x2] & Niall Woolard, finally in West Dorset Hamworthy Recreation FC Reserves returned East with all 3 points after a 3-2 win against hosts Bridport FC Reserves, scoring for the Magna road outfit were Matt Kerse [x2] & Bruce Banfield with Josh Baker & Ethan Robinson bagging for the Bees.
On 18 July 2020 the FA issued guidelines for the return of outdoor competitive grassroots football.

The DPL Management Committee will be meeting by the end of this coming week to discuss the situation with a proposed Club Secretaries meeting by the end of July.

Having reviewed what was said at the recent AGM, please can I confirm that the club secretaries should register their players on the Whole Game System. At the same time the player registration form(s) should either be scanned across to me or a hard copy be posted to me so that I can complete the registration process.
