Introduction to the;
Dorset Premier Football League
The league was formed in 1957 and was initially called the Dorset Football Combination League.
The 2019/2020 Season will be contested by 17 teams covering the entire county of Dorset and neighbouring Counties.
The objective of the League on its formation was to increase the standard of football in Dorset, an ideal that still holds true today as the League currently sits at Step 7 of the FA's National League System.
The DPL is proud to have been awarded it's FA Standard Charter League Status.

DORSET SENIOR CUP
Swanage T&H bowed out of the Competition as they went down 3-0 at Cochrams against Wessex League Shaftesbury. Scoring for the Rockies were Jordan Barrett, Brett Pitman & Cam Beard.
DORSET SENIOR TROPHY
in an entertaining game at the County Ground, Bournemouth Sports needed penalties to beat Hamworthy Utd Res to progress through to the next round after the game finished 3-3, the visitors led 3 times during the 90 minutes with Will Tuffill, James Bergin & Sam Darlow all scoring, replying for the Hammers were Tymo Famurat, Olly Ponder & Webb. The visitors held their nerve from the penalty spot and moved into the next round winning the shootout 4-2.
On 18 July 2020 the FA issued guidelines for the return of outdoor competitive grassroots football.

The DPL Management Committee will be meeting by the end of this coming week to discuss the situation with a proposed Club Secretaries meeting by the end of July.

Having reviewed what was said at the recent AGM, please can I confirm that the club secretaries should register their players on the Whole Game System. At the same time the player registration form(s) should either be scanned across to me or a hard copy be posted to me so that I can complete the registration process.
