Sturminster Marshall welcomed Holt United for their final game of the season and just like last week, the Bulls went goal crazy as they ran out 14-1 winners, scoring for the Bulls were Ali Garard (x3) Jamie power (x3) Kyle John Clement (x2) George Ashby (x2) Sam Bradford, Sam Herrington, Spencer Hanslip & Jordan Toop. The league was formed in 1957 and was initially called the Dorset Football Combination League.
The 2022/2023 Season will be contested by 18 teams covering the entire county of Dorset and South Somerset, 9 of which have Floodlights and all 18 have an AED device in or adjacent to their facility.
The objective of the League on its formation was to increase the standard of football in Dorset, an ideal that still holds true today as the League is now classed as a Regional NLS Feeder League that sits just outside the FA's National League System.
The DPL is proud to have been awarded it's England Football Accredited League Status.
