The current League Table is subject to possible change due to 2x Disciplinary Cases outstanding that will be heard at the LMC meeting at the end of April.

The presentation of the League Championship Trophy & Medals will be held at Chapel Gate on Saturday 19th April after Bournemouth Sports game with Bournemouth Electric in the Supplementary Cup Competition.

SUPPLEMENTARY CUP
Group A
Cobham Sports got their campaign underway with an 8-0 demolition of Balti Sports at home with goals from Dan Brown [x2] Patrick Spiteri, Charlie Harries, Amechie Eze-Sunday, Joe Wood, John Lever & Jimmy Fry.
Group B
Another side to get their campaign off to a winning start were Bournemouth Electric who courtesy of goals from Scott Joyce & Jackson Kavita beat Swanage Town & Herston 2-0 at home.

The league was formed in 1957 and was initially called the Dorset Football Combination League.

The 2022/2023 Season will be contested by 18 teams covering the entire county of Dorset and South Somerset, 9 of which have Floodlights and all 18 have an AED device in or adjacent to their facility.

The objective of the League on its formation was to increase the standard of football in Dorset, an ideal that still holds true today as the League is now classed as a Regional NLS Feeder League that sits just outside the FA's National League System.

The DPL is proud to have been awarded it's England Football Accredited League Status.
