Following extended discussions (Thank you Giles for your patience) this game will now be played in Dorset as Thames Valley were unable to provide a venue.  This will still be our away game but played locally with the hosts paying the costs.

DPL Representative Team

I am pleased to be able to announce that the DPL have appointed. 

Mr Stuart Bedingfield to be our Representative Team Manager for our forthcoming FA Inter League Cup Campaign.

 

On behalf of the League, I welcome Stuart to his position, and I am sure that ALL Member Clubs will assist Stuart moving forward.

 

Our 1st Round tie in this season’s FA Inter League Cup Competition sees us play the Thames Valley League.

DPL 4 - WEATHER 4 ..........

In the 4 games that were played today, leaders Blandford United FC secured a comfortable 3-0 win at home against Verwood Town FC, scoring for the Royals were Jake Kelly, Reuben Stanley & Logan Laird, after their surprise midweek 2-1 defeat at home to Poole Borough FC, Dorchester Sports FC won their local derby today by the same score line at the Avenue Stadium against Portland United FC Reserves, scoring for the hosts were Todd Coombes & Joel Hewitt with Cal Norman replying for the Blues. Meanwhile, at Raleigh Grove, hosts Sherborne Town FC Reserves beat Bournemouth Electric FC 3-2 with goals from Alfie Calway, Darren Rowe & Jamie Jarman with Aza Khider hitting a brace for Electric. In the 3pm kick off, Bournemouth Sports FC beat Hamworthy United FC Reserves 3-2 at the County Ground with all 5 goals coming in the 2nd half, scoring for Sports were Dan Hayward, Dan Viner & Luke Street with ????? replying for the Hammers.
