League Round Up

For the first time in a few weeks we have had all nine League games played.

The top two positions remain unchanged by Blandford Utd beating Gillingham Town 5-1 and Cobham Sports beating close neighbours Hamworthy Recreation Reserves 5-0. With Blandford Utd at the top and Cobham Sports in second eight points separate them with Cobham with one game in hand. Third place Dorchester Sports were the 3-1 winners at home to Hamworthy United Reserves.

The only draw of the day saw a 2-2 outcome between Portland Utd Reserves and Bridport Reserves. Bournemouth Sports travelled northwards to meet Sherborne Town Reserves to come out the 2-4 winners making the journey worthwhile. At Days Park, Swanage Town & Herston were the 2-1 winners against visitors, Bournemouth Electric.

Poole Borough gained a valuable three points when then me Verwood Town with a 0-1 result. Another away win saw Holt Utd travel to Westland Sports to be the 0-3 winners.

Wimborne Town Reserves were the host to visitors Balti Sports with a 4-1 result.
