FA Inter-League Cup Quarter Final - Hertfordshire Senior County League v Dorset Premier League

The first fifteen minutes saw a cagey opening from both sides. Leading up to half time Lucas Goad made some quality saves to keep the scores level - 0-0 at half time. Immediately after the restart Michael Trim with an excellent finish to put the DPL one nil up. Unfortunately the DPL were down to 10 men when Joe Flachi received a second yellow card.

Then on 88 minutes Hertfordshire scored to make the scores level at 1-1. We were then looking at penalties when heartbreak in the 92 minute, Hertfordshire scored their second. We then scored a second in the 94th minute but this was disallowed on the run up by an offside. Final score 2-1 to Hertfordshire to go through to the semi-final.

Dorset Senior Trophy
Congratulations to Sherborne Town Reserves who were the 2-0 winners against Bridport Reserves to meet either Dorchester Sports or Blandford Utd in the final of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance Senior Trophy.

League Round Up
Only five league games today due to players proudly representing the DPL in the Inter-League Cup.
Winners were Gillingham Town in their 4-0 win over Poole Borough, Holt Utd in their 6-0 score at home to Hamworthy Recreation Reserves. Portland Utd Reserves were the 4-2 winners against Hamworthy Utd Reserves and Portland Utd Reserves travelled to Verwood Town for a 1-2 scoreline.
The only draw of the day was a 1-1 result for Swanage Town & Herston against a travelling Bournemouth Sports.
